Wednesday 24th July 2019 Race Report

Teatime Tankard 1

An unfamiliar grey sky, a familiar brisk, gusty wind. Nathan Pollard’s Laser Radial got away first followed by Adam Hilton’s Aero 5, John Dabbs with Jane Chadney in the Bosun and Sue Murray’s Laser Radial. Linda Spiller (Laser Radial)  (having a bad day)  hit Dam Green and then capsized heading to Pinkie. Brian Pollard with Cilla Gilbert (having a bad Bosun equipment day) chased the Dabbs/Chadney Bosun and then retired. Linda Spiller capsized a second time. She retired. The Officer of the Day (Roger Heasman) shortened the course from four to three laps. Sue Murray got past Adam Hilton on the third of them.
